About the Role As Finance Officer for Data, you will ensure that financial data from third-party systems and internal platforms is accurately processed and reconciled. You will support month-end close, maintain robust controls, and deliver a high-quality service to departments across the organisation.
Main Duties - Process and validate data uploads from e-commerce, banking, and other business systems.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely month-end close.
- Maintain effective financial controls and compliance standards.
- Deliver professional and responsive service to internal stakeholders.
- Review and authorise journals, reconciliations, and analysis prepared by team members.
- Support new commercial initiatives through accurate financial processes.
- Analyse intercompany transactions and ensure timely postings.
- Maintain a strong understanding of financial systems and data flows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and recommend efficient solutions.
The Successful Candidate - Strong experience in finance operations or data-focused finance roles.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate team members.
