Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced French-speaking Unit4 Finance & Procurement Consultant to lead the implementation and rollout of Unit4 across a recently acquired French business.
This is a highly visible role, acting as the bridge between the Group implementation team and the local entity. The successful consultant will combine strong Unit4 functional expertise with an understanding of French finance, procurement, accounting and regulatory requirements.
The role requires a hands-on consultant who can build credibility with stakeholders, lead workshops and training sessions, and ensure a successful migration from the current Sage environment to Unit4.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the local Unit4 implementation across Finance and Procurement functions.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Group project team and local French stakeholders.
- Conduct discovery workshops and design sessions to understand current processes and requirements.
- Deliver system demonstrations and facilitate stakeholder engagement.
- Lead user training and knowledge transfer activities.
- Support data migration activities from Sage into Unit4.
- Ensure French accounting, tax and regulatory requirements are appropriately reflected within the solution design.
- Challenge and improve existing processes where appropriate.
- Build strong relationships with local finance, procurement and operational teams.
- Provide practical guidance on Unit4 best practice and process optimisation.
- Support testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and go-live activities.
- Assist with post-implementation stabilisation and adoption.
Candidate Profile (Essential)
- Proven experience delivering Unit4 ERP implementations.
- Strong functional knowledge across:
- Finance
- Procurement
- Financial controls and reporting
- Fluent French and English language skills.
- Experience working within French organisations or supporting French-based ERP implementations.
- Strong understanding of French accounting practices, tax requirements and regulatory considerations.
- Ability to lead workshops, training sessions and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Experience managing ERP migrations from legacy finance systems.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Desirable
- Previous experience migrating from Sage to Unit4.
- Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations or business transformation projects.
- Experience operating within international or multi-entity organisations.
- Previous exposure to private equity-backed businesses.
- Experience working across both France and Belgium.
