The Role: - To document and record existing processes, record improvement recommendations and assist in the project management of an improvement programme
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury processing
- Assisting the Director of Finance in preparing a comprehensive fixed asset strategy, this includes contributing to the planning, analysis, and implementation processes to ensure the effective management and optimisation of the university’s fixed assets
- To respond to queries received from suppliers, customers, students, budget holders, and managers
The Successful Candidate: - Ability to communicate clearly with a wide-ranging audience, with an ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships within and outside the organisation
- Ability to think logically and proactively solve problems, using own initiative and resolving issues
- Good written skills, strong MS Office skills, particularly using Excel and Word
What’s On Offer? - 12 month fixed term contract
- £33,000 - £ 35,000 per annum
- 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
