Campaign recruitment for a London based University

The Project

Mackie Myers reached out to a valued long term client who had recently moved into a new Finance Director position at a renowned central London university. This client decided to revamp the structure of the finance department, and introduce new positions to support the team during a phase of substantial expansion. Given the demand for roles on both a permanent and interim basis, it was crucial for all consultants to allocate their attention effectively. Due to the scale of the re-organisation, we decided to work on this campaign on an exclusive basis, allowing us to make this a top priority and develop a tailored, customised strategy that aligned precisely with our client’s goals.

The Process

In light of the importance of this revamp, we designated four of our expert consultants to spearhead this initiative. Several meetings were arranged with the relevant line managers to discuss the key duties of the roles, and better understand what kind of profiles were needed. These discussions enabled the consultants to fine tune their search criteria, and they were then able to present a shortlist of at least five candidates per role. We utilised our digital ‘Live List’ to showcase appropriate candidates, enabling clients to easily review profiles through a user-friendly and polished interface, whilst supporting videos alongside CVs.

The Result

The campaign wrapped up on a high note with every role being successfully filled. The line managers responsible for these positions were genuinely impressed by the calibre of candidates our consultants produced. This positive outcome highlighted the effective teamwork between our consultants and the client, and the success of our joint efforts in filing the roles has solidified our position as a reliable recruitment partner for the future.
