My client based in Letchworth is seeking a new Assistant Financial Accountant to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to grow your career and learn from experienced Finance professionals.
The role:
- To assist the Head of Finance with balance sheet reconciliations
- Responsibility for maintaining and updating the Fixed asset register
- Completing and posting journals
- Assisting with budgets and forecasting
- Assisting with year end audit
- Assist the Finance Business Partner with maintaining and processing journals for the monthly management accounts
- Completion of company VAT return
- Undertaking accounts preparation for managed organisations
The successful Candidate:
- Experience of book-keeping and balance sheet reconciliations
- Responsibility for maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and processing entries for depreciation, additions and disposals
- Experience of advanced Excel functions such as VLookup and pivot tables
- Ability to work as a team member and on own initiative to plan and manage workload
- Flexible approach to duties and working arrangements
- Part Qualified/Studying CIMA/ACCA.
