The Role You will lead monthly management accounting, budgeting and forecasting cycles, and support statutory accounts preparation, ensuring high?quality financial reporting and control.
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Lead annual budgets and in?year forecasting
- Support statutory accounts and audit schedules
- Produce financial KPIs and cash flow reporting
- Provide finance guidance to managers and deputise for the Assistant Finance Director
Main Duties You will oversee core financial processes and champion continuous improvement.
- Draft month?end timetable, journals, accruals, prepayments and intercompany postings
- Produce draft management accounts, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Coordinate quarterly finance, invoicing and debt reviews with budget holders
- Lead budget timetables, templates, consolidation and system uploads
- Prepare audit files, schedules and supporting documentation
- Develop KPI reporting, cash flow forecasts and performance dashboards
The Successful Candidate - Strong management accounting experience within a complex organisation
- Confident preparing budgets, forecasts, KPIs and performance reporting
- Knowledge of statutory reporting requirements (FRS102/SORP desirable)
- Skilled in partnering with budget holders and influencing decision?making
- Proactive, organised and comfortable supporting at senior?finance level
