The Role You will lead monthly management accounting, budgeting and forecasting cycles, and support statutory accounts preparation, ensuring high?quality financial reporting and control.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Lead annual budgets and in?year forecasting
  • Support statutory accounts and audit schedules
  • Produce financial KPIs and cash flow reporting
  • Provide finance guidance to managers and deputise for the Assistant Finance Director
Main Duties You will oversee core financial processes and champion continuous improvement.
  • Draft month?end timetable, journals, accruals, prepayments and intercompany postings
  • Produce draft management accounts, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Coordinate quarterly finance, invoicing and debt reviews with budget holders
  • Lead budget timetables, templates, consolidation and system uploads
  • Prepare audit files, schedules and supporting documentation
  • Develop KPI reporting, cash flow forecasts and performance dashboards
The Successful Candidate
  • Strong management accounting experience within a complex organisation
  • Confident preparing budgets, forecasts, KPIs and performance reporting
  • Knowledge of statutory reporting requirements (FRS102/SORP desirable)
  • Skilled in partnering with budget holders and influencing decision?making
  • Proactive, organised and comfortable supporting at senior?finance level
