The Role You will act as a trusted partner to budget holders, providing high?quality financial insight and driving effective decision?making across the organisation.
- Produce timely, accurate management reporting and analysis
- Lead monthly management accounts processes in collaboration with Finance Business Partners
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Undertake ad?hoc financial analysis to optimise resources
- Contribute financial expertise to projects and funding bids
Main Duties You will be central to ensuring strong financial stewardship and accountability within assigned departments.
- Lead financial monitoring and dialogue with budget holders
- Produce monthly management accounts, commentary, and analysis
- Support annual budgets, forecasts, and planning
- Maintain chart of accounts and ensure data integrity
- Provide training to non?financial managers and support year?end processes
The Successful Candidate - A qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with proven business partnering experience
- Excellent analytical and problem?solving skills, with strong Excel capability
- Confident communicating financial information to non?finance colleagues
- Highly organised, detail?focused, and able to work autonomously in a fast?paced environment
- Adaptable, customer?focused, and comfortable supporting occasional out?of?hours activity
