With a collaborative culture and a senior leadership team that values insight driven decision?making, they are now seeking a Finance Business Partner to strengthen financial planning,
performance reporting, and strategic support across the organisation.

The Role

The Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in shaping financial decision making and ensuring strong financial discipline across the charity and its trading subsidiary.

You will lead the delivery of high quality management accounts, support annual budgeting and forecasting, enhance KPI reporting, and help develop a more structured, commercially focused approach to financial planning. This is a highly influential role, operating with significant autonomy and visibility at senior levels.

Main Duties
  • Act as a primary strategic finance partner to key business areas, offering proactive financial insight and challenge
  • Deliver monthly management accounts and drive ongoing improvements to reporting
  • Lead on budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring reports are clear, accurate and suitable for senior review
  • Prepare consolidated budgets for presentation to SMT and Council
  • Support the Head of Finance in developing and delivering organisational KPI reporting
  • Provide meaningful performance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Work with senior budget holders to address significant variances and shape operational responses
  • Contribute to the ongoing design and improvement of finance processes across the organisation
The Successful Candidate
  • Part?qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) with evidence of active CPD
  • Significant experience in non-profit finance roles with a commercial arm, including business partnering
  • Strong track record of delivering management accounts and high?quality reporting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex information for non finance audiences
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical capability
  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders and influencing decision?making
  • Experience designing or improving finance processes desirable
  • Able to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and support finance colleagues where needed
