The Role This is a key finance role supporting financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making across the organisation.
- Deliver high-quality management reporting to budget holders and senior stakeholders
- Lead forecasting and budgeting processes across directorates
- Act as the main finance contact for a portfolio of teams
- Support development of multi-year financial planning
- Drive improvements in reporting, systems, and processes
Main Duties Working closely with the Head of Financial Planning, you will support the organisation with robust financial insight and business support.
- Produce monthly management accounts with clear insights and recommendations
- Lead budget-setting and forecasting cycles, challenging assumptions where needed
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support decision-making
- Support continuous improvement of financial systems, reporting, and processes
- Supervise and support junior team members
The Successful Candidate - Qualified accountant (or part-qualified/ qualified by experience) with proven management accounting and business partnering experience
- Strong communicator, able to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence across teams
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a changing environment
- Experience in the charity sector or understanding of fund accounting is beneficial
What’s on offer? - £60,697 to £65,619 pern annum
- 30 days annual leave and the opportunity to buy/ sell up to 3 days
