The Role
This is a key finance role supporting financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making across the organisation.
  • Deliver high-quality management reporting to budget holders and senior stakeholders
  • Lead forecasting and budgeting processes across directorates
  • Act as the main finance contact for a portfolio of teams
  • Support development of multi-year financial planning
  • Drive improvements in reporting, systems, and processes
Main Duties
Working closely with the Head of Financial Planning, you will support the organisation with robust financial insight and business support.
  • Produce monthly management accounts with clear insights and recommendations
  • Lead budget-setting and forecasting cycles, challenging assumptions where needed
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support decision-making
  • Support continuous improvement of financial systems, reporting, and processes
  • Supervise and support junior team members
The Successful Candidate
  • Qualified accountant (or part-qualified/ qualified by experience) with proven management accounting and business partnering experience
  • Strong communicator, able to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence across teams
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a changing environment
  • Experience in the charity sector or understanding of fund accounting is beneficial
What’s on offer?
  • £60,697 to £65,619 pern annum
  • 30 days annual leave and the opportunity to buy/ sell up to 3 days
  • Up to 10% employer pension contribution
