The Royal Museums Greenwich is one of the world's leading maritime museums, bringing together four iconic historic sites: the National Maritime Museum, the Royal Observatory Greenwich, the Queen’s House, and Cutty Sark.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Business Partner will play a key role in supporting operational and strategic decision-making across the organisation.
  • Partner with budget holders to manage budgets and financial performance
  • Lead on management reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis and commentary
  • Support key projects, fundraising initiatives and business cases
  • Provide financial challenge and guidance to non-finance stakeholders
Main Duties
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will ensure high-quality financial planning, reporting and governance.
  • Produce timely and accurate management information and reporting
  • Lead the monthly management accounts process
  • Support annual budgeting and regular forecasting cycles
  • Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making
  • Provide financial training and support to budget holders
  • Support year-end activities and financial controls processes
  
The Successful Candidate
  • Qualified accountant  or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Proven Finance Business Partnering experience within a charity, heritage, cultural or similar environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance audiences.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
