Finance Contractor – Corporate Rationalisation & Property Analysis Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire (Hybrid, flexible working)
Contract: Full-time, 6–9 months

Our client, a leading UK-based engineering organisation, is seeking an experienced Finance Contractor to support with a group structure rationalisation and property performance review.

The role will focus on simplifying the organisation’s legal entity structure, closing dormant companies, and transferring operations into a new framework. You’ll also lead financial analysis of the property portfolio, assessing the performance and margins of sublet and owned sites across the UK.

This is a hands-on position ideal for a qualified accountant with strong analytical and commercial acumen, and proven experience in restructuring, finance transformation, or property finance.

You will have perhaps worked in one of these capacities across a property portfolio:
  • Group Finance Manager
  • Finance Business Partner
  • Senior Financial Analyst
  • Finance Transformation Manager
  • Group Accountant
Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the closure of dormant entities and manage transfers into active structures.
  • Analyse property performance and sublet margins, producing actionable insights.
  • Support improvements to financial reporting and control through the rationalisation process.
  • Partner with legal, estates, and audit teams to deliver project milestones.
Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with post-qualification experience.
  • Background in multi-entity and property-focused environments.
  • Excellent financial modelling and stakeholder management skills.
