The charity also works closely with the City St George’s, University of London and the local community to fund major improvements to hospital facilities, research and medical equipment. The Role
St George’s Hospital Charity is looking for a Finance Manager, who will lead the Finance Function and be responsible for:
- Management of income and payments processing operations
- Financial reporting and the audit
- Management reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Systems and process improvements/ optimisation
- Staff management
Main Duties - Maintaining a robust financial control framework and providing high quality timely financial management information to ensure effective decision making.
- Preparing annual financial statements and supporting an efficient external audit process.
- Supporting the annual budget setting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Leading on continuous finance process improvement and finance training for SGHC staff.
The Successful Candidate - Experience producing the statutory accounts and management accounts in the non-profit sector
- Experience supporting statutory audits and leading budgeting processes
- Excellent communication skills, to be an effective finance business partner
- Proactive and solutions focused individual
What’s on offer? - £50,000 per annum
- Hybrid working. Office is based in Tooting, South West London.
