Interim Financial Accountant – 2 Months – Fully Remote Our Client:
Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to provide short-term support during the year-end audit. This is an initial 2-month interim assignment, working fully remotely.
The Role:
The primary focus of the role is to support the finance team through the audit process, taking ownership of audit queries and ensuring information is provided accurately and promptly.
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and responding to external audit queries.
• Preparing and providing supporting schedules, reconciliations and documentation.
• Investigating accounting queries and resolving outstanding audit points.
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting financial accounting activities.
• Liaising with auditors and internal stakeholders to obtain required information.
• Helping ensure the audit remains on track against agreed deadlines.

About You:
You will be an experienced Financial Accountant with a strong technical accounting background and previous involvement in year-end audit processes. You will be comfortable working independently, dealing directly with auditors and quickly getting up to speed in a new organisation.
ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification would be advantageous, although strong relevant experience will also be considered.
