They are seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to support financial sustainability, strengthen controls, and drive continuous improvement across the finance function.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in supporting organisational decision-making.
  • Lead the day-to-day finance function and finance team
  • Deliver accurate and insightful management reporting
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to support strategic decisions
  • Strengthen financial controls, governance and risk management
Main Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality financial management across the organisation.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, forecasts and financial analysis
  • Lead annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes
  • Manage cash flow, treasury and working capital activities
  • Oversee audit, statutory reporting and regulatory compliance
  • Support finance systems development and process improvement initiatives
The Successful Candidate
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Significant experience leading a finance function
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting 
  • Proven experience managing audits, budgets and financial controls
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and business partnering skills
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and financial modelling capability
