The OpportunityWe’re looking for a commercially minded Head of Finance to lead the UK function and play a key role in scaling a manufacturing-led business.
This is a hands-on role with exposure to operations, acquisitions, and performance improvement — suited to someone who wants to move beyond traditional finance.
Key Responsibilities - Lead all UK finance activities (reporting, audit, tax)
- Own financial performance of a recently acquired UK business (~£15–20m revenue)
- Build and maintain robust financial models, forecasts, and reporting
- Partner with operations to improve margins, cash flow, and efficiency
- Support supplier negotiations and working capital management
- Help establish scalable systems and processes as the business grows
- Work closely with UK and US leadership on planning and performance
What We’re Looking For - 6–12+ years’ experience in finance (IB, PE, or high-growth environments)
- Strong financial modelling and commercial acumen
- Experience in manufacturing, industrials, or engineering-led businesses preferred
- Exposure to acquisitions, integration, or performance improvement
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented
