Our Client

Our client is an established social housing provider in East London, currently strengthening its finance function and reporting. Our client is looking for an Interim Head of Finance/Interim Financial Consultant to act as a right hand person to the Exec Director. 

The Role

This Interim Head of Finance will take ownership of the finance function, including management accounts, statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, banking and finance operations.

You will improve the quality, insight and presentation of management information and Board papers, strengthen financial controls and provide effective business partnering to senior stakeholders. The role will also oversee regular housing returns and the continued development of the finance team, systems and processes.

The Successful Candidate

• A fully qualified accountant
• Broad experience leading a finance function within Social housing 
• Strong financial control, reporting and forecasting expertise
• Confident challenging and partnering with senior stakeholders
• Able to operate autonomously and take full ownership
• Social housing and regulatory returns experience would be beneficial

What’s on offer?

A salary offering between £85-95k or a day rate of circa £500-600 per day depending on experience, possibly 4 days per week.
