Our Client:
This London based University is seeking an Interim Business Partner to support its Finance Department on a fixed-term contract basis. This role has arisen due to a recent departure and sits within the change programme, which is currently partway through its implementation. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance and working closely with the Management Accounts team, you'll take on a hands-on financial management position at Grade 9, with a salary of £70,000. This is an opportunity to work at pace in a fluid, evolving environment where your analytical rigour and attention to detail will directly shape strategic financial decisions at the highest levels of the institution.
The Role: - Hands-on financial analysis and modelling, with a focus on cost management and savings programmes rather than routine monthly reporting
- Direct exposure to executive leadership, including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Executive Deans, in a high-profile and sensitive remit
- Flexible, hybrid working arrangement with the option to work remotely, provided you visit the office periodical
Successful Candidate: - Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or equivalent industry experience
- Familiarity with higher education finance models or commercial education sector finance
- Proven confidence working with numbers and presenting financial data clearly, with a track record in FP&A or hands-on management accounting management accounting role
