Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Interim CFO to support the CEO of a private equity-backed renewables business in Berkshire. The business has recently undergone significant transformation within its finance function and requires strong financial leadership to stabilise operations, rebuild internal controls, and deliver strategic insight during this transitional period.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner closely with the CEO to provide financial leadership and strategic support.

Stabilise and restructure the finance team following recent changes.

Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Implement robust controls, systems, and processes to ensure PE-level reporting accuracy.

Support ongoing performance improvement and value creation initiatives.

Act as the key liaison between the company and its private equity stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

Proven CFO experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments.

Strong background in renewables, energy, or infrastructure preferred.

Track record of leading finance teams through transformation or turnaround.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
