The Role
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting financial operations while the core business partnering team is focused on year?end and audit. You will contribute to donor budget reviews, financial monitoring, and communication with internal stakeholders, ensuring that financial processes remain robust and responsive throughout this critical period.

Main Duties
  • Support the finance business partnering function during year?end and audit.
  • Review donor budget proposals and assist with donor-related financial management.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant financial guidelines.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and the financial performance monitoring of programmes.
  • Work closely with internal teams to provide clear, timely, and insightful financial communication.
  • Assist with ongoing improvements to finance processes and reporting quality.
The Successful Candidate Non?negotiable:
  • Experience working with donor or grant-funded budgets, including reviewing donor budget proposals.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Part?qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) or higher.
  • Desirable experience using Xledger.
What’s on Offer
  • Contract running 12th January – 12th March, with potential for extension or redeployment within the wider team.
  • One?stage interview via Teams, scheduled for Monday 22nd December or Tuesday 23rd December.
  • Hybrid working with 2 days a week in central London
  • Circa £250 umbrella day rate.
