This interim Financial Accountant role supports year-end and audit processes for an impressive membership going through a systems change. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with charity sector experience, strong technical skills, and a proven track record in preparing year-end accounts and liaising with auditors.

The Role - Support year-end financial processes and reporting, delivering accurate and timely accounts
- Prepare statutory accounts for three smaller charities
- Liaise with external auditors and respond to audit queries
- Reconcile investment accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Provide expert input on charity-specific accounting requirements
- Ensure compliance with charity SORP and relevant regulations
- Maintain financial controls and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
The Successful Candidate - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent experience) or proven long term experience in charity sector financial accounting
- Strong understanding of charity audit processes and requirements (ideally SORP)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
