We are working on a confidential search for an exceptional Interim Financial Controller to join a market leading and world renowned international manufacturing group in a high-profile operational finance role.

We are looking for demonstrable experience of implementing robust financial processes and controls in a deadline driven and highly demanding bluechip or plc manufacturing/ engineering environment. You will likely be practice trained with substantial industry experience.

This is an office based role Mon-Thurs On Site | Flights/ Travel & Accommodation Covered

We are looking for talented, driven and proactive individuals from across the UK that can commit to this office based role ( the office is 30 minutes from the airport) on a Monday to Thursday basis. Flights, travel and hotel will be covered.

This position offers significant exposure to senior leadership within a complex, performance-driven industrial environment undergoing a period of rapid change.

The Role

• Lead finance, reporting, and controls for a major operational site
• Drive cost control, performance analysis, and financial discipline
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting
• Strengthen processes and internal controls
• Operate at pace to deliver strategic process change and deliver insight for senior leadership team.

The Candidate
We are seeking a high-calibre, degree educated and practice trained Accountant (ACA or equivalent) that has operated as a Financial Controller for a major brand ( minimum £500 ++ turnover)

Ideally you will be

• Big 4 or leading Top 10 trained
• Strong audit, reporting, and controls background in manufacturing/ engineering sector
• Commercially sharp, robust with gravitas and confident with senior stakeholders
• Ready for a visible leadership role in a large-scale environment

Location & Travel
This role requires on-site presence Monday-Thursday each week.
Competitive Daily Rate or Salary available for the right hire.
the role is based in the UK. Weekly travel is required.
