A UK-listed business is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Consolidation & Reporting to join its Group Finance function during a period of significant strategic change and corporate activity.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance leader to take ownership of group consolidation and reporting while managing and developing a high-performing team.

Reporting into the Global Head of Reporting, you'll play a key role in supporting the business through a major carve-out and wider transaction programme, whilst ensuring robust month-end reporting and consolidation processes continue seamlessly.
  
In this high-visibility leadership position, you will manage, coach, and mentor a team of Group Financial Accountants based in Manchester. You will take full ownership of the Group consolidation process via Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud (FCCS), ensure complex acquisitions, disposals, and one-off corporate transactions are accurately accounted for, and manage global subsidiary relationships. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the monthly Group consolidation process for a large international business
  • Manage, coach and develop a team of 3 direct reports
  • Support complex acquisitions, disposals and corporate transactions
  • Contribute to the delivery of Annual Report and Half-Year reporting
  • Act as a key finance partner to stakeholders across Tax, Treasury and FP&A
  • Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes and systems
  • Build strong relationships with international subsidiaries and finance teams globally 
About You:

? ACA/ACCA qualification with strong post-qualified experience
? Proven experience leading Group Consolidation & Reporting within a large corporate or listed business
? Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge
? Experience managing and developing finance teams
? Track record supporting corporate transactions, restructurings or carve-out activities
? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
