A fast-scaling engineering and manufacturing business based in Oxford is entering a pivotal phase of international expansion. With strong foundations in the UK market, the company is now actively growing its operations across Europe, the Middle East, and other global regions.

To support this critical next step, we are seeking an experienced Interim Head of International Tax. This is a newly created permanent role, and we are appointing an interim expert to establish the global tax agenda during this transitional period.

What You’ll Do
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, and working closely with senior leadership at the Oxford HQ, you will be responsible for:

Designing and implementing a scalable international tax strategy

Advising on tax structuring and cross-border expansion plans

Supporting the setup of overseas entities and commercial operations

Managing transfer pricing, VAT, and corporate tax across multiple jurisdictions

Ensuring tax compliance and managing risk in a rapidly evolving environment

Liaising with external tax advisers and internal stakeholders

Laying the foundations for a long-term international tax function

What You’ll Bring
A strong track record in international tax, either in industry or through top 10 consulting

Deep technical expertise across corporate tax, transfer pricing, VAT/GST, and international structuring

Experience supporting businesses through periods of international growth and change
