The Role This is a varied, hands-on position supporting the manufacture and assembly of components and products across the production process. Working closely with the wider manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, preparing components and sub-assemblies, managing materials and ensuring products are manufactured to the required quality standards.
The role offers exposure to a range of advanced manufacturing technologies and would suit an individual who enjoys practical work, problem-solving and working within a collaborative team environment.
Main Duties The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for:
- Manufacturing components using thermoforming equipment and 3D printing technologies.
- Operating laser cutting equipment and verifying component alignment and quality.
- Preparing, processing and finishing 3D printed parts.
- Carrying out sub-assembly preparation, heat sealing and welding activities.
- Managing stock levels, inventory control and material transfers.
- Performing routine quality checks and supporting production documentation.
- Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient manufacturing environment.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
