The Role You will deliver a comprehensive reconciliation between the housing management system and the financial ledger, resolving long?standing mismatches and improving the reliability of financial reporting.
- Reconcile rents, arrears and related balance sheet entries
- Investigate historic mismatches and resolve discrepancies
- Validate P&L and balance sheet postings for accuracy
- Work with Finance and Systems teams to understand data flows
- Produce clear reconciliation reports and recommendations
Main Duties This role focuses on high?quality reconciliation work, financial accuracy and improved controls across key income streams.
- Conduct detailed reconciliations between NEC and the financial ledger
- Review rent, arrears and bad debt postings and correct historic issues
- Analyse variances and document findings clearly for audit use
- Streamline reconciliation processes using Excel and D365
- Support ongoing financial reporting and audit readiness
The Successful Candidate - CCAB?qualified, part?qualified or equivalent experience
- Strong background in financial reconciliations across complex systems
- Advanced Excel capability and experience with D365
- Able to analyse large data sets, identify anomalies and propose solutions
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach
What’s on offer? - Salary: £45,013 – £50,014 per annum (pro rata for 35 hours per week)
