Summary - An opportunity for a finance professional to join a growing international not-for-profit organisation as a Senior Finance Officer. This role is central to delivering accurate financial operations, payroll, reconciliations, donor reporting, and continuous process improvement.

The Role This is a hands-on Senior Finance Officer position responsible for the smooth operation of day-to-day finance activities and financial reporting.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, expenses, and payment processes
- Own monthly payroll preparation and administration
- Complete reconciliations, journals, and month-end activities
- Prepare donor and restricted fund financial reports
- Support finance system, process, and control improvements
Main Duties Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure accurate financial management and reporting across the organisation.
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and staff expenses
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll and pension information
- Complete bank and control account reconciliations
- Produce donor, grant, and restricted fund reports
- Support ERP development, controls, and process enhancements
The Successful Candidate - Charity background - restricted fund reporting- charity exp.
- Strong understanding of month end- banks recs and accruals and prepayments etc
- Experience of payroll
- Strong excel - comfortable with pivots and v-look ups etc
- Good communicator, switched on and proactive
- Studying an accounting qualification
What's on offer? - Salary up to £41,000 per annum, depending on experience
