About the Company:
Join a vibrant and fast-paced media company in the heart of Central London; on an exciting growth journey and currently undergoing a major finance systems transformation. We’re looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Systems Accountant to play a key role in the transition and optimisation the finance systems at a group level.

The Role:
As our Systems Accountant, you’ll be instrumental in leading the transition of our accounting systems from Sage 200 to IQ, ensuring the successful integration of financial processes and data across the group. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that sits at the intersection of finance and systems — ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes and building robust reporting tools in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the migration of the company’s accounts from Sage 200 to IQ.
  • Consolidate financial systems at group level — a critical focus of the role.
  • Build and enhance dashboards to provide real-time financial insights.
  • Develop and streamline month-end close processes across entities.
  • Produce credit reports and other key financial reporting tools.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings across the finance team to ensure alignment and timely progress on the integration project.
  • Work closely with external software providers, IT, and finance stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Provide post-implementation support and continuous system improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a systems accountant role or similar within a finance team.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and controls — experience with Sage 200, IQ, or similar ERP systems is a plus.
  • Proven experience in systems migrations or implementations.
  • Confident in building financial dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with BI tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
  • A proactive problem-solver who enjoys working across teams.
Why Join Us?

You’ll be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking team at a key moment of change. This role offers autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact by shaping how our finance systems operate across the group.
