The Role This Finance Manager position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of transactional finance operations and supporting financial control:
- Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, cash management, and credit card processes
- Ensure accurate and timely transaction processing aligned with financial controls
- Support month?end close and reporting activities
- Work closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team
- Lead and develop a small transactional finance team
Main Duties You will be responsible for managing key finance processes and ensuring operational excellence:
- Manage end?to?end accounts payable and receivable processes
- Oversee bank reconciliations, cash book postings, and payment runs
- Lead month?end activities including reconciliations and ledger closures
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and audit requirements
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with internal teams and external partners
The Successful Candidate - Proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role with a non-profit organisation
- Strong knowledge of transactional finance, month?end processes, and financial systems
- Experience managing or supervising a finance team
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- AAT qualified, part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA), or qualified by experience
What’s on offer? - £45,000- £50,000 per annum plus benefits
- Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the London office.
