Job Title: Financial Controller (FTC)
Location: North London (Hybrid Working Available)

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 + Benefits
Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
This is a pivotal role during a period of growth and operational transformation, offering exposure across financial leadership, controls, reporting, and commercial business partnering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance team and take ownership of all day-to-day finance operations
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including full P&L, balance sheet, and monthly pack for senior leadership review
- Manage and mentor the AP, AR and Credit Control functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency across the transaction cycle
- Review bad debt provisions and oversee debtor management
- Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all accounts
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and reporting on a monthly basis
- Oversee the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Monitor and improve internal processes, ensuring company-wide compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Work closely with commercial and operational teams to support performance and strategic initiatives
- Support the audit process and act as the key point of contact for external advisors
- Drive improvements in reporting and support with ad hoc finance projects and process reviews
About You:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong experience in a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role, ideally within FMCG or a fast-paced product environment
- Comfortable managing both technical and transactional finance areas
- Proven experience leading and mentoring finance teams
- A strong understanding of financial controls, process improvement, and compliance
- Confident business partner with strong communication skills
- Hands-on, proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail
