The Challenge  

An international professional services firm reached out to Mackie Myers to replace their outgoing Finance Director. A small but complex business they needed this person to have a number of specific skillsets to ensure the business had a strong finance leader as they undertook a number of important projects. Choosing an agency to partner with was important tot ensure a smooth recruitment and handover process.

The Process  

Louise and Jenna met with the CEO to understand the key requirements of the role, specific timeframes and the challenges of securing talent at this level in the current market. Through this meeting both parties agreed the right solution would be to secure an interim Finance Director to ensure a smooth transition between the outgoing and incoming FD. Once the parameters of the search were agreed, Louise partnered with the CEO and COO to go about finding them a long term interim solution.

The Result  

The role was shortlisted within a week and appointed with two weeks from the initial meeting. Louise worked closely with both the CEO and COO to ensure a smooth recruitment and onboarding process. The interim Finance Director has started in the new role with plenty of time to allow for an effective handover period.
