Mackie Myers, the independent recruitment partner, is proud to announce that it has been named in the 2025 Sunday Times Best Places to Work UK list, powered by WorkL. Recognised in the Small Organisations Category, Mackie Myers was acknowledged for having consistently high levels of employee experience and wellbeing.

These nationwide workplace awards celebrate the UK’s top employers, calculating the results using 26 questions from WorkL’s employee engagement survey. Developed by behavioural scientists, data analysts, psychologists, business leaders, academics and other independent parties, the test is designed to accurately monitor employee engagement and wellbeing and in the workplace.

Mackie Myers’ overall engagement score for wellbeing was an impressive 91%, coupled with an exceptionally low risk index of 5% - indicating the number of employees at risk of having poor wellbeing. This is comparted to an industry average of 38%.

Mackie Myers also scored highly on empowerment (95%), with 96% of employees stating that they are proud to work for the business. The team also showed great confidence in the leadership of the business, with a Confidence in Management score of 93% - compared to an industry average of 72%.
