Mackie Myers, the independent recruitment partner, has today announced the launch of its first international office in Los Angeles, California.
Founded in London in 2021, Mackie Myers has achieved strong organic growth across the UK, having successfully expanded across two other regional centres, Cambridge and Oxford. The launch of the Mackie Myers USA office is the next step in developing the brand’s global reach.
This new division of Mackie Myers will focus on partnering with rapidly scaling businesses whose growth ambitions are best supported by external recruitment partners, as well as established firms looking for niche or specialist hires which can be more challenging to find. Mackie Myers will also be working with professionals across the USA looking to accelerate their careers in dynamic industries.
The new USA office will be headed by Mackie Myers’ USA Co-Founder, Joe Harris, and supported by the wider Mackie Myers infrastructure. Joe has 10 years’ experience operating in both the US and UK markets, recruiting senior roles in finance, operations and corporate services. The USA division will initially be based out of Los Angeles, California and service businesses across a range of industries, including consumer goods, manufacturing, entertainment and retail, among others.

As such, for every placement the brand makes in the USA, it will plant trees via non-profit organizations focused on supporting reforestation after wildfires. The Mackie Myers USA office has also committed to team volunteering days in 2025, helping in the relief effort for the Los Angeles Wildfires.
