A small growing charity approached Mackie Myers during a critical growth period, seeking support for their expanding operations. With anticipated increased business over the Christmas season, the charity required a temporary Grants Analyst who could quickly integrate into the team. The role needed a candidate with specific grants experience, good communication skills, and a genuine passion for charitable work.
The process
Having previously successfully placed an Investments Operations Analyst with the organisation, Mackie Myers had established a trusted relationship with the charity’s senior leadership team. We held a vacancy consultation call with key decision makers to fully understand the context, requirements, and responsibilities of the role. This allowed us to ensure we could manage the client’s expectations and identify the ideal candidate.
The result
Leveraging our understanding of the charity and their needs, Mackie Myers quickly identified an exceptional candidate with prior experience in charitable grants work. The candidate brought not just the technical skills required, but also the passion and communication skills critical to the role. Within a short timeframe, we successfully placed a temporary grants analyst who has integrated well into the organisation.
