Mackie Myers is partnering with a major UK-listed group to recruit a high-calibre Deputy Group Finance Director. This is a pivotal role at the heart of Group Finance, offering exposure to senior leadership and the chance to drive improvements in reporting, controls, and finance operations across the business.
The Role Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will:
- Deliver timely, accurate consolidated reporting for the Group.
- Strengthen controls, improve processes, and drive automation.
- Act as the key link between Group Finance and divisional teams, ensuring alignment and consistency.
- Support process improvement across the group including a possible future ERP program.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc analysis across the business.
- Lead initiatives to enhance ERP and reporting tools for better insight and efficiency.
About You - ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualified accountant with strong post qualification experience.
- Practice trained, non practice will also be considered.
- Experienced in listed company reporting, consolidations, and controls.
- Proven track record improving processes, governance, and financial systems.
- Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
