Summary We are looking for a newly qualified Group Financial Accountant.
The ideal candidate is a recently qualified accountant with experience producing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts, ideally in manufacturing or automotive sectors.
Our Client Mackie Myers have partnered with a fast-growing automotive business in Oxford to appoint a Group Financial Accountant into their expanding finance team.
The Role The Group Financial Accountant will produce group and subsidiary management accounts, budgets, and forecasts, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. You will support consolidation, reporting, and financial planning, helping the business achieve its strategic growth objectives while contributing to continuous improvement across the finance function.
Main Duties - Prepare group and subsidiary management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure departments understand their financial position and performance
- Support senior stakeholders in delivering strategic and operational objectives
- Assist with financial consolidation and reporting
- Drive continuous process improvement within the finance team
- Provide insightful analysis to support business decision-making
The Successful Candidate - Newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience in management accounting or financial reporting, ideally in automotive, manufacturing, or engineering
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and eager to grow in a fast-paced business
