Our Client Our client is a UK based fast – growing renewable energy business based in Oxford. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a business at the early stages of there journey. Due to growth my client is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Director / Head Of Supply Chain. This role will report initially to the CEO but will transition into a COO or CCO in time.
The Role - Strategy: Strategic planning with regards to supply chain , quality and purchasing
- Leadership: Building and leading a diverse team across supply chain , quality and purchasing
- Supply chain strategy development: Crafting a comprehensive supply chain strategy that is aligned with broader business goals
- Vendor Management: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and identifying where suppliers can be condensed
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks within the supply chain, whether financial operational or geopolitical.
About You - Comfortable working at all levels of the business and used to developing individuals and teams
- Ability to work at a strategic level, but also tactically to ensure good Supply Chain team outcomes
- Experience in the automotive sector leading quality, procurement, and logistics to develop supply chains
- Ability to have a Global perspective on suppliers and supply chain management
- Ability to new nascent markets, and have developing technologies that may have an immature supply base
- Experience of high growth environments and setting up new plants and infrastructure are an advantage
