An exciting opportunity to work within a well-established charity through supporting the day to day finances in a progressive finance officer role.
Main duties:
- Maintain and manage the general ledger.
- Support the preparation of management accounts.
- Oversee the asset register in Xero and manage the depreciation process.
- Handle cash management and prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and reports.
- Address queries related to expenses and budget codes.
The Successful Candidate:
- Proficiency in all areas of accounts- purchase and sales ledger, and basic management accounts.
- Proven experience with basic management accounts.
- Studying towards an accounting qualification (e.g. AAT or ACCA).
- Experience with Xero or similar cloud-based finance systems.
Desirable:
- Experience working within a charity (familiar with charitable income and restricted grants).
